Schedule of Presidential candidate TV and radio 1st and 2nd broadcast

In addition to the rally sites & schedules, the broadcasts on radio and television by the four Presidential candidates have been made known. The first broadcast shall be on 18/08 and the second will be on 26/08 (the eve of Polling Day).



The four Presidential candidates will make their broadcasts over free-to-air radio and television platforms. These platforms are made available in all four languages to the candidates.



The order of the first broadcasts on radio and television will be determined based on the alphabetical ordering of the names as reflected in the Electoral Roll. They are:



1. Dr Tan Cheng Bock



2. Mr Tan Jee Say



3. Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam



4. Mr Tan Kin Lian



This order will be reversed for the second presidential candidate broadcast.

The four Singapore presidential candidates will make their first Presidential Candidate Broadcast over free-to-air radio and television platforms on Thursday, August 18.



These platforms are made available in all four languages.



The Media Development Authority (MDA) said the English broadcast will be at 8pm on Channel NewsAsia and 938LIVE, and 10pm on Channel 5 and Power98.



The Malay broadcast will be at 10.30pm on Suria and Warna 94.2FM.



The Chinese broadcast will be at 10.30pm on Channel 8, Capital 95.8FM, 883Jia FM and Radio 1003 and at 11.30pm on Channel U.



The Tamil broadcast will be at 9pm on Vasantham and Oli 96.8FM.



The MDA said the order of the first broadcasts on radio and television will be determined based on the alphabetical ordering of the names reflected in the Electoral Roll.
