World's 50 most delicious foods include Singapore chilli crab and chicken rice in the list!!

Check out CNNGo, "World's 50 most delicious foods" which has rightly attributed chilli crab as a Singaporean dish.

In fact according to Wikipedia entry on 'chilli crab', it says: "Chilli crab is a seafood dish originating from Singapore. It was created in 1950 by Singapore chef, Cher Yam Tian with her husband, Lim Choon Ngee. The couple ran Palm Beach Seafood Restaurant on Upper East Coast Road (near the present day East Coast Seafood Centre".

But it is indeed debatable whether or not chicken rice is to be credited for Singapore or Malaysia. (The Wikipedia article for 'chicken rice' does credit both country.)

SOME eat to live, others live to eat.

If you belong to the latter group and you live in Singapore, you're in luck.

Two popular Singaporean dishes have made it to CNNGo's list of the world's 50 most delicious foods.

At no. 45 is the national dish of Singapore, chicken rice. 'Whenever you're not actually in Singapore eating chicken rice, you're thinking of it,' the website says.

Placing higher at no. 35 is Singapore's infamous chilli crab, which the website describes as a 'spicy, sloppy, meaty specialty' that is a must-try when visiting Singapore.

Thailand's Massaman curry tops the list, and is described as the 'king of all foods', with its 'spicy, sweet and savoury' flavours.
