Alicia Keys is dead?!?! (And so are many other celebrities' digital personae???)

Alicia Keys sacrificed her digital life to help save millions of real lives affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. That means no more Facebook or Twitter updates from her until $1,000,000 is raised to buy her life back.

Yes. It's part of the creative idea of DIGITAL DEATH. Check out this unique website, http://life.buylife.org/.

A list of Hollywood celebrities have "killed" themselves in a bid to raise money for charity.

These entertainers have signed off all social networking media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook, to raise a target amount of US$1 million (S$1.3 million) for charity Keep A Child Alive.

This charity is an initiative by R&B singer Alicia Keys and the campaign called "Digital Life Sacrifice" features the celebrities pictured in coffins.

Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake and Usher are just one of the few celebrities who have taken part in this campaign on Dec 1, which is also World Aids Day.

They will only sign in to the social networking platforms once the US$1 million target is reached.

If you want them back fast, all you have to do is to 'buy' them back here: http://buylife.org/
