Cheong Tze Heen Kenneth, "The Paper" in Moscow International Film Festival

Congratz for Cheong Tze Heen Kenneth for having his short film, "Paper" to be featured at the 32nd Moscow International Film Festival 2010. It's kind of irony considering it takes almost 10 years to conceptualised the story. A matter of thorough preparation indeed.

A Singapore film has been selected to be part of one of the world's most recognised and established film festivals.

The short film "Paper" will be part of the Fringe Showcase at the 32nd Moscow International Film Festival 2010 in Russia from June 17 to 26.

Its director Cheong Tze Heen Kenneth will attend the Festival.

Cheong Tze Heen had conceptualised and written the story over a span of almost a decade.

But filming was completed in just three days on a personal budget.

Local actor Sunny Pang and TV actress Patricia Mok star in the movie as two unknown strangers who exist in a surreal realm where time and twilight are one.

The film was supported by MDA and various local industry partners.

From Channel NewsAsia, "S'pore film to be screened at Moscow International Film Festival 2010".
